Interact-TV Introduces TellyPilot at 2006 CES

Portable Web Tablet Serves as a Full Telly and TellyVizion Remote Control and also as a Remote Multimedia Playback Unit

Interact-TV™ (OTC:ITVI ), a leading developer of Linux based home entertainment servers, today announced the addition of TellyPilot™, a fully functioning Windows or Linux web tablet featuring an 8.4" TFT touch display in a robust yet light and thin metal alloy enclosure. The TellyPilot can be seen at the upcoming January 2006 Consumer Electronics Show, Booth 26818.

“TellyPilot is the newest addition to our growing Home Entertainment product line” said Ken Fuhrman, President of Interact TV. “This product lets consumers take full control of both Telly and TellyVizion products as well as bring video, music, photos and other multimedia content to any room in the home”.

TellyPilot’s brilliant 8.4” TFT Active Matrix LCD provides sharp 800x600 SVGA resolution, integrates full touch-screen display with “on-screen soft keyboard” and communicates with either Telly or TellyVizion via its 802.11g built-in WLAN adapter. A USB port, PC Card and Compact Flash slots are also built-in.

Stereo audio is provided to its stereo speakers via TellyPilot’s full 16 bit audio system. A headset jack and microphone are provided. Navigation though the functions of the home entertainment server and playback unit is achieved through a programmable 4-way navigation button and multiple hard buttons on the front and sides of the unit.

When not used, TellyPilot sits on its desktop cradle for charging. If so chosen, TellyPilot may then be controlled via its USB keyboard and mouse and can be used as a fully functioning home computer. Whether in use or just sitting in its cradle, TellyPilot is extremely quiet and is totally fanless. Optional hot-swappable secondary battery packs as well as mountable cradles for wall, desktop or in-vehicle deployments are available.
